Melie Bianco is a Los Angeles-based bag brand introduced in 2003 by designers Melissa and William. The concept of creating vegan bags is inspired by the cofounders’ idea of offering affordable, everyday totes that are totally animal friendly. They developed a unique type of faux leather than mimics the real thing, right down to the texture. After unveiling their first collection, sales were brisk and their one of a kind design won the raves of bag hags across LA.
